Sweet 1930's bedroom set $899

I had to smile when the man told me," this set was in rough shape!"  Every drawer slides in and out, ALL  the original hardware was intact, not only did it have the headboard, footboard but original side rails (unusual for antique set ). The vanity has such sweet personality you can picture how excited a little girl was to use this. You see most men don't get the "Shabby" thing to him this was rough, to me it was a diamond! This is not a faux finish but, one that has lived life! The worn paint, nicks and scratches are like sweet wrinkles on a Grandma's face! I brought it back to my store lovingly cleaned it and then  applied wax, with each stroke it became more beautiful! I've had this beautiful set  in my store for a couple of months.... in it's original gold  color .Because of it size and weight I kept putting it off restoring it !So with my son's help, it's finally done and boy did it ever turn out stunning ! This is a high end "Lou Registester "set from the 60's  the quality of the drawers , detail work cannot be matched in todays standards !The layout of the long dresser would make a stunning bathroom vanity ! As a bedroom set an elegant  classic ! I held off on distressing  this set (I  think it would really accent the carvings) for those that prefer it solid but , we can distress it if you would prefer the" Shabby chic" look!

Down filled "Robb and Stucky " couch $799

I purchased a fun little piece of Arizona history , these are the original chairs purchased in 1962 for Northern Arizona University science department  ! Yep,  some of your bums have probably graced these chairs!
